The event/rules are simple , and very easy to have a go
fly 5 laps around a 20 meter/66 foot course , figure 8 pattern, as fast as you can, capture it on video (inflight or from the ground) and post up on youtube/vimeo/whatever
why 20 meter /66 foot ? because thats the size of a standard cricket pitch, easy to find at most parks/schools, and due to the short length it keeps top speed down and more importance on getting good turns
all in fun, the only specifications at this stage is must be a multirotor (2 or more rotors), and have no aerodynamic lifting devices (wings)
heres my first attempt, 52 seconds, around the cricket pitch (22 meters) at Hawera Primary School, New Zealand
Now get out there and give it a go !
